I am pleased to announce that I have joined the Centre for Advanced Study Access to Cultural Goods in Digital Change at Münster University as a senior fellow. While it seemed that the promise of participation and accessibility, so central to all 1960s conceptual projects, had finally come true in the new networked cultures of the World Wide Web, there is an irony in the current inaccessibility of many early net art projects: websites of virtual exhibitions have been shut down, and virtual works stored on CD-ROMs rely on outdated and now inaccessible software. Upcoming fellow lecture on Monday, 20 January 2025, 4:15 pm (Room 210, Philosophikum, Domplatz 23, 48143 Münster).
