Partner project of the Photography Triennial RAY 2015 in Frankfurt and the Rhine/Main region
Leserinnen und Leser des Online-Magazins dis erwartet in der partizipativen Rubrik #artselfie ein scheinbar nicht abbrechender Bildlauf fotografischer Selbstporträts in Ausstellungsräumen. Den Appell der dis-Redaktion aufgreifend („Go see art. See yourself in art. Let us see you see you“), fragt diese Ausstellung nach der Rückwirkung digitaler Ästhetik auf künstlerische Praxis und stellt Bildstrategien vor, mit denen zeitgenössische Künstlerinnen und Künstler ihrer Umwelt unter den Parametern einer digitalen Kultur begegnen. Die Hochschulprojekte im Rahmen von RAY 2015 präsentieren Arbeiten von Studierenden der Hochschule Darmstadt, der Hochschule für Gestaltung Offenbach, der Kunsthochschule Mainz, der Staatlichen Hochschule für Bildende Künste – Städelschule und der Hochschule RheinMain Wiesbaden.
Die Hochschulprojekte sind eine Kooperation mit ATELIERFRANKFURT
